NWFP... The forgotten paradise

The North West Frontier Province is the third largest province in term of population with a land area of about 74521 (sq km), administratively divided into 24 districts with 55 urban localities. The province has a total of 20.86 million populations with 83% and 17% rural-urban distribution respectively. The most impoverished rural population divided into 7335 rural localities with a very low per capita income has agriculture as major occupation.

The tribal belt with land area of about 27220 sq km divided into 9 agencies is referred as Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA). These are border mountainous areas of NWFP with total population of about 3.68 millions having only 3% in urban localities.

Most of the population are poor and have a limited access to basic health facilities and other social services. The whole region is characterized by small scale, subsistence-oriented farming predominantly for household consumption.

Poor road infrastructure and least communication facilities, hospitals in big cities are almost inaccessible. Poor socio-economic is also a set back for this deprived human segment.

Once again in UAE

4th of July 2008 was the date when for the first time I landed in Dubai. In fact, the impression of Dubai was not so sound as I was expecting anyway I was on visit and stayed here for three months. Despite of few serious attempts my employers could not arrange work permit for me so I flew back to Pakistan on 2nd of October 2008. It was second day of Eid in Pakistan and up to up coming 3 months I remained in Pakistan.

On 5th of January 2009  once again I was in Dubai. This time matters are little changed. Hope it will be a nice stay this time

Bilawal Bhutto,,, Caretaker of so-called ‘Bhutto Legacy’

In process of being Oxford graduate, Bilawal has been crowned the chairmanship of Pakistan People Party. Simply this mean, he is in-lined to become the premier of Pakistan (if things kept going in favor). It is hard to realize in developed societies but it happened here in Pakistan that a young guy has been awarded the opportunity to become the premier or simply to play with fate of people of this part of the world.

Bilawal, u must be very much careful because the field you are going to join is not a flat road, it is full of fears, dangers and threats.
